If you’ve driven into New Paltz recently, you might have noticed a beautiful, A-frame building with floor-to-ceiling windows…and our sign out front. That’s not a mirage! We’re working on our first permanent brick-and-mortar location in New Paltz, aiming to open our doors in late October or early November.

Over the last two years, we have benefitted immensely from the support of The Acceleration Project—a nonprofit that focuses on supporting women-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and POC-owned businesses. It’s an honor to win this award.

Trans Day of Visibility on March 31st. To be honest, I'm having a hard time finding the right words to express how TDOV feels this year. I suppose I'll just say what is true for me: my heart hurts for the damaging rhetoric aimed at our community and the pain and suffering it leads to; my heart sings with the love, vibrance, and dedication to authentic self-expression that our community ushers into the world.

The holidays are here! We have chocolate pies, sweet breads, briroche rolls, sticky buns, seasonal pastry and cookie assortments, and more, with pick-ups in Croton, Poughkeepsie, and Beacon. As always, all vegan.

Bun season 2023 is here, we just need to get through these rainy days first! Also, we’ve got a new savory vegan product for the cafe, some event photos from Drag Me to the Movies, and a not-goodbye-because-we’ll-see-you-soon post about one of our team members.

We have a few things planned for Pride Month — including a screening of But I'm a Cheerleader with drag performances, selling queer cookies at Poughkeepsie Pride, and more! Proceeds from our pride cookies will go to Hudson Valley Clearwater Sloop's 'Queerwater' program.

You can find us at TasteNY Todd Hill on the Taconic on Fridays, the Hyde Park Farmers Market on Route 9 on Saturdays, and the Beacon Farmers Market on Sundays.

We’ll have all of our typical pastries like croissants, morning buns, pretzels, danishes, and cookies (as vegan of course), as well as rotating recipes and flavors as various fruits and veggies come into season.
