hi! we’re little loaf bakeshop.
We’re an LGBTQ-owned vegan bakery that creates daily moments of joy through creative, fun, high-quality pastries and other treats. We love what we do and we hope you can taste the care and attention to detail that our team bakes (sorry we had to) into each and every product.
Come see us at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory from 8am-1pm Thursday through Saturday and at regional farmers markets and festivals! We also supply vegan deliciousness to a few awesome cafes in the area - check them out here.
Oh, and as for the name Little Loaf…we’re named after our cats. You know when they have their little front legs under their bodies and they look like loaves of bread? That’s where it comes from. Though, arguably, at least one of our cats has graduated to Big Loaf (our big orange tabby).
We are proud to be a queer woman- & trans-owned business.

land acknowledgement
Little Loaf Bakeshop operates on the ancestral land of the Wappinger, Mohican, and Munsee peoples, collectively known as the Lenape (or Lenni-Lenape), who were forcibly removed through land dispossession and violence. We commit to learning more about the original people of this land, and supporting the work of the National Association of Tribal Historic Preservation Officers, Landback, and Cultural Survival.
"For those who live in New England, you may be unaware that beneath your feet lies thousands of years of history. The Mahīkanak, or Mohicans inhabited the Hudson River Valley for thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans. Beneath the vast urban sprawl lies the burial sites of thousands of our ancestors.” Learn more here.
