Suns Out Buns Out, Vegan Pretzel Dogs, and More!
Bun season 2023 is here, we just need to get through these rainy days first! We'll have our brioche & pretzel brioche hot dog and hamburger buns available this weekend, and pretty much every weekend throughout summer.
We also debuted our vegan pretzel dogs at “Drag Me to the Movies” last Tuesday (photos of the event below!). They turned out pretty dang good, so we'll have them in the cafe this weekend too.
Now that we've told you about a new exciting product, we have to break the news that strawberry pastries are done for the foreseeable future (and likely for the year unless there's a late summer crop). We're sad the season is over so soon as well, but the intense rain has not been kind to our farmer friends' fields. Send some good energy their way as they wade through this literal storm.

Ok, we promise this is the last time we make a bun joke (in this email at least). If you haven't had our brioche buns yet, well, what are you waiting for? We'll have plenty available on every Saturday at the Underwear Factory and at the Hyde Park Farmer’s Market, and on Sundays at the Beacon Farmer’s Market. Let's just hope the sun comes out long enough this weekend to bring these buns outside for grilling, picnics, eating out of a bag in your car with the windows down while you blast Kylie Minogue, etc.

We're back! Starting in July, we'll be down at Matters Coffee every 3rd Saturday from 9am til we sell out. For July, you can expect to see brioche buns galore, along with a healthy selection of both our standard and seasonal pastries. We hope to see you then!

On June 20th we hosted the first edition of “Drag Me to the Movies” ft But I'm a Cheerleader at the Underwear Factory, brought to you our friends over at Story Screen and Ame Presents.
It. Was. A. BLAST. And we cannot WAIT to do it again. The next one will be in August, and wait'll you see what movie it is.

Those of you who have come into the Underwear Factory have very likely met Kathleen, one of our first employees. This was her last weekend working behind the bar at Little Loaf, as she is headed back to work in education. We're excited to cheer her on for this next journey, and you might see her working in the cafe...but as a customer! Thank you, Kathleen, for believing in our little bakery and all of your hard work in getting the cafe off the ground. We are so grateful!

"Bittersweet last weekend working at Little Loaf! I’ve really enjoyed meeting you all and serving coffee and pastries to the sweetest customers at the Underwear Factory. I’ll be returning to working as an educator. I look forward to being a customer at Little Loaf and hope to still see familiar faces at the cafe!"
Heads Up: Little Loaf Summer Vacation from 7.27 - 7.30
We'll be closing down operations July 27th through July 30th to give our team some much needed time off. That means we won't be open at the Underwear Factory or the Farmers Markets, and our products won't be at our cafe partners' shops. We'll send out a few reminders as the date approaches!
