Trans Day of Visibility, Poughkeepsie Bread Pre-Order, & Upcoming Events

Happy Spring! Just a few weeks away from t-shirt weather. Just around the corner. So soon. It's going to be soon, right? Right?? If you can't tell, we're over this gray cold weather!

Below you'll find a few updates, including upcoming events and a new way to order our bread loaves (for folks in Poughkeepsie).

Also, this is the last week to vote for your favorite businesses in Hudson Valley Mag's "Best of 2024" list! If you love our products, we'd love for you to throw us a vote for Best Bakery. If you love our coffee drinks, we'd love for you to vote for Savanna for Best Coffee Barista. Click here to go to the voting form!

Thanks everyone and see you soon!

This Weekend is Trans Day of Visibility

Trans Day of Visibility on March 31st. To be honest, I'm having a hard time finding the right words to express how TDOV feels this year. I suppose I'll just say what is true for me: my heart hurts for the damaging rhetoric aimed at our community and the pain and suffering it leads to; my heart sings with the love, vibrance, and dedication to authentic self-expression that our community ushers into the world.

Little Loaf is proud to be a queer and trans-owned business, and Colleen and I are very focused on intentionally creating and sustaining environments that feel safe for our community, and where self-expression and joy can thrive. We're grateful for all of our customers who help to make that happen, not only for our trans and nonbinary community—but for everyone.

There are local organizations & organizers who are doing so much dang work to support and uplift our community, including creating events that bring us all together. Please support them if you can—more details below!

April Bread Loaf Order Form (including buns!)

We don't have the capacity to make a ton of loaves at the moment, but we've heard from folks that they'd love the ability to grab them from us at our pop-up at the Underwear Factory in Poughkeepsie (Thursdays-Saturdays 8am-1pm).

So, here we are! We'll give this a try with a Google Form and see how it goes!

April 6th: Matters Coffee in Croton on Hudson
